China to build first industrial park in Uzbekistan

  The industrial park based on Syr Darya state in Uzbekistan is the first one funded by Chinese four private enterprises in Ouhai, Wenzhou, which is named as Pengsheng Industrial Park.


  The industrial park is designated as the production base to produce leather, shoe, ceramic tile and cardboard boxes with total investment of 30 million U.S. dollars and covering an area of 32 hectares.


  The completed project is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs for local people with processing capacity of 600,000 pieces of fur and 4 million pairs of shoes.


  Deputy Premier Эргаш Рахматуллаевич Шоисматов and governor of Syr Darya state presented the groundbreaking ceremony held on September 9, 2009, on his opening remark Deputy Premier highly praised the bilateral cooperation on industrial park building, and hoped to further strengthen trade relationship between two countries through the industrial park, and expected the park will make more contributions to local economic growth and employment.
